The Ignite album was originally conceived to help “ignite” the worship scene at a church in Orange County, California, USA where Merlyn’s family worship. The AVYFC worship team was formed and asked to help plan the album, which had to include songs that were not only personal favourites but an example of contemporary worship music in Britain. After the successful production of the first master we were all so pleased that we decided to release the album locally as a celebration of the launch of AVYFC’S music project – Southcourt Studios: www.southcourtstudios.com.
